These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Touchlines platform, including the website at touchlines.app, the web application at dash.touchlines.app, and any associated services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
The Service is operated by Acciom Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 11862326, whose registered office is at [Registered Address]. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean Acciom Limited. References to "you" or "your" mean the individual or organisation accessing or using the Service.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
1.1 What Touchlines Does
Touchlines is a web-based platform that allows grassroots football coaches to record match statistics, manage teams and players, track seasons, share live match updates with spectators, and generate season summary content ("Touchlines Replay").
1.2 Service Availability
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Service, but we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Service at any time for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons.
1.3 Eligibility
To create an account, you must be at least 18 years of age. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The Service is not directed at children under 13.
2. Accounts
2.1 Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2.2 Responsibility for Your Account
You are responsible for all actions taken through your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at hello@touchlines.app.
2.3 Account Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time through the profile settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2.4 Account Suspension by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in conduct that harms other users or us.
3. Subscription Plans and Payment
3.1 Free Tier
A free tier is available that provides core match-tracking features at no cost. Free-tier limitations are described on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.
3.2 Pro Tier
Pro features are available on a per-team subscription basis at the rates listed on our pricing page:
- Monthly plan: billed monthly in advance
- Annual plan: billed annually in advance
Subscriptions are managed per team. A coach may have multiple teams, each with an independent subscription status.
3.3 Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle. All prices are stated in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
3.4 Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or via Stripe's customer portal.
3.5 Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund on annual subscriptions if you have not made substantial use of Pro features during that period. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. Please contact hello@touchlines.app for refund requests.
3.6 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect for existing subscribers.
4. Acceptable Use
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service for lawful purposes to manage your football teams and track match data.
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Enter false, misleading or defamatory information about players, teams or matches
- Upload content that is unlawful, offensive, harassing, or infringes any third party's rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools or bots to access or scrape the Service
- Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent
- Upload photos or videos of minors without holding appropriate consent from their parent or guardian
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
4.3 Player Data
When entering player data (including names and statistics), you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorisation to do so. For youth teams, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required from parents or guardians.
4.4 Media Uploads
Any photos or videos uploaded to the Service (including by spectators via shared links) must not depict anything unlawful or harmful. You are responsible for moderating spectator uploads for your teams.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our IP
The Touchlines name, logo, platform software, design and content are owned by or licensed to Acciom Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
5.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of any data, statistics, photos or other content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service.
5.3 Feedback
If you provide suggestions, feedback or ideas about the Service, we may use these without any obligation to you.
6. Touchlines Replay
6.1 Free Tier Replay
Free accounts may generate one Touchlines Replay per team per calendar year. Free Replays include a "Made with Touchlines · touchlines.app" watermark and contain a limited set of season statistics.
6.2 Pro Tier Replay
Pro subscribers may generate Replays monthly with full statistics and without watermark.
6.3 Sharing
Replays are shareable via a unique link. By sharing a Replay, you grant us the right to serve the Replay content to anyone with the link. You remain responsible for the content within a Replay.
6.4 Replay as a Feature
Touchlines Replay is a feature of the platform and not a standalone product. We may modify or discontinue the Replay feature with reasonable notice.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with or relies on third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Turso (database), Supabase (real-time updates), Vercel (hosting), and Emailit (email). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
8.1 No Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acciom Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under or in connection with these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8.3 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Acciom Limited and its directors, employees and agents from any claims, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
